To avoid last-minute additions, we recommend reaching out to anyone who may want to be included, even if you’re unsure. It’s very common for someone to decide later that they do want services—and those late changes can impact timing and staffing.

Once we know who is receiving services and which services they’ll have, we work directly with your hair and makeup team to thoughtfully build your Hair & Makeup Timeline.
Start times are determined by a few key factors:

Once we’ve created our initial draft, we’ll share it with you for review and any refinements before it’s sent to your hair and makeup team and finalized.

What if I’m gifting only one service (hair or makeup), or not gifting services at all?

Hair and makeup artists are contracted for the full scope of services outlined in their agreement. The client pays the vendor directly in full, and any reimbursements or payments from members of the wedding party are coordinated separately. This ensures clarity for the artists and a smooth flow on the wedding day.
When should I schedule my hair and makeup trial?

This varies by artist and availability. If you’re traveling from out of town, we recommend scheduling your trial during the days surrounding Vendor Day (though not on Vendor Day itself, as it tends to be quite busy). Trial scheduling is handled directly between you and your hair and makeup team—any date that feels right for you and your artist is perfectly appropriate.
